Among the biggest reasons is to prevent risk of lawsuits if someone is injured. Second, mishaps cut down on working time. Thirdly, property and goods could be damaged during accidents. The majority of accidents are attributed to staff who are not well trained. Employers are responsible for making certain that all staff who are using the forklift are correctly trained in risks and safety. Never let anybody on a forklift who isn't trained to utilize the forklift. Your business must develop and post in a visible location all forklift safety measures.

Staff should have a positive attitude when they go through training, rather than doing it just because they are required to. You as the employer should help workers understand the importance of proper training. Let them know that they could kill or injure not only themselves, but other individuals, if they make mistakes.
