The narrow aisle lift truck has been made to work in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the width of the aisle. Yale makes the double reach NDR and single reach NR units which are utilized for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks manufactured by Yale offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has different stance and control handle configurations and apply best-in-class ergonomics.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To meet a wider variety of operations, there are numerous control handle configurations such as the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: This technology offers powerful acceleration and deceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been made for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of loads moved in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly consists of tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings. This increases the durability and rigidity of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life and the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: Yale provides industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds really improve the overall throughput and productivity.
Regenerative Lowering: Although regenerative lowering can reduce battery changes per shift it also works to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: To greatly reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the technician can adjust the steer effort in order to lessen operator fatigue. During the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically start.
Order Selectors: The very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks are also known as order pickers. These equipment are made for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors lift both the cargo and the operator to its required height. This height can be in excess of 30 feet. Similar with most turret trucks they are usually guided by rail or wire when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
