For optimal suitability in industrial work sites, Genie DC machinery may be the best alternative. When zero-emissions and low noise are needed, these equipment could be a terrific option. Genie hybrid, bi-energy systems are available for applications where the equipment need to drive long-distances. These models combine the best of both worlds, using the flexibility of diesel-powered generators and the positives of a 48V DC machine.

To charge the DC battery and to provide the operator with long battery life between charges, Genie DC units have systems on-board. There is also a 30 amp universal smart charger system utilized to charge between shifts or overnight. The smart charger system would automatically convert to the AC voltage input and frequency. In order to save unnecessary power usage which would cost your business this charging system will shut down automatically once the battery pack has reached full charge. Genie DC units provide proportional drive and lift controls that help the operator to use precise and smooth movements and regulate the speed of every function. This ensures precise positioning with each lift. On non-jib models, the self-levelling platform rotates to 90 degrees in either direction. For jib models, the jib can rotate 80 in either direction as well as 135 five degrees to 139 degrees vertically, that depends on the model utilized. Working heights vary from 12.52 meters to 15.94 meters, which depends on the unit. Genie DC lifts are stable when rotating the turntable in tight areas. Due to lack of tailswing, lift repositioning while the turntable is rotating is not needed. Over and up reach on these equipment is great for working in small spaces and the compact unit size is ideal for when lighter weight machines are required.

Genie models are fairly quick and easy to maneuver with a smooth ride on its pneumatic tires and no tailswing to produce long-lasting performance on tough jobs. Non-marking foam- and air-filled tires help to increase the benefits in industrial settings.
