Our manufacturing line consists of mechanical motor grabs, hydraulic lifting machines, electro-hydraulic motor grabs, a range of other types of specialized lifting devices and single rope radio control grabs.
Up to date, Peiner has supplied over 75,000 models across the world. Within the United States marketplace, SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. Different businesses such as Steel Mills, Waste to Energy, Scrap Handling, and numerous other material handling facilities like Bulk Transfer Facilities currently utilizing our buckets and grabs to do their jobs.
Peiner's design philosophy has always revolved around the idea of making grabs which deal with the biggest volume instead of grab dead weight. Usually, the grab and bucket lifting ratio's meaning that 60 percent of material is dead weight vs. 40 percent grab dead weight. This translates into moving more quantities of supplies quicker. There is less wear and tear on the structure of the crane and its related components. Through a combination of high quality materials and innovative design with manufacturing, the required weight ratio is obtained.
Grab sizes would vary from 1 cubic yard or less to more than 50 cubic yards in order to meet the needs of the customer. In addition, Peiner USA Inc. provides a complete service facility and spare parts facility for the units purchased within the United States, as well as the addition of new grabs and buckets.
