Genie Zoom Boom Montana

Genie Zoom Boom Montana

Bud Bushnell established Genie Industries during 1966, after he purchased the manufacturing rights to a material lift which functioned on compressed air. The name Genie came from the "magic in the bottle" that was utilized to lower and raise the hoist. This device greatly impressed a lot of clients and therefore, the name was born.

Genie expanded operations and established itself into various new markets, as the need for work lifts and platforms grew. Over time, as the demand for new machinery to meet numerous applications grew, the company made itself known in numerous new markets. For example, Genie went into making man-lifts, articulated booms, light towers telehandlers and stick booms.

Genie decided to secure a partner who had the same values because of the economic recession during the beginning of the 2000s, when they partnered along with Terex. This company has a history acquiring machine manufacturers throughout the globe who proved to be a good business match. Genie Industries was sold during 2002 and became a part of Terex Corporation.

Due to the Genie name and its solid reputation in the workplace, it was decided to maintain the Genie brand name as part of the Terex Aerial Work Platforms. This was just decided after the first few years following the sale. Hence, all Genie machinery continue to be sold under the Genie brand name.

The company takes great pride in listening and taking advise from their clients. Genie has always been continually dedicated to improving the efficiency and quality in addition to minimizing wastes. Even long after the sale has been closed, the company focuses on offering exceptional support. These are the very work practices which have made Genie a trusted brand name over the past decades and continue to keep their reputation for quality and top-of-the-line equipment.

Genie's DC and Bi-Energy equipment are emission-free, quiet machinery capable of working in delicate work environments. Where the machinery needs to be driven significant distances, such as within industrial situations, the Genie bi-energy system combines the advantages of a 48V DC machinery with the power of a diesel-powered generator.

Compared to any of the various types of aerial platforms, telescopic booms provide more horizontal reach overall. These machinery are great for limited access places in construction and other industrial environments. The Genie Telescopic S booms have been designed to offer utmost productivity. These machinery deliver the drive speed and supreme traction you require to be able to travel around the job area and work site.
