Established in the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family business within the Northern Italy's largest industrial place. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in constructing pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, a wide array of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming machines.
In 1963, the company began crane production. The company eventually invested all of their financial resources and human resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.
