During 1842, Inventor Jerome Increase Case founded Case in Racine. He started making threshing equipment. Case grew their construction machinery company through various acquisitions, starting with the American Tractor Corporation during the year 1957. Case merged with the company New Holland in the year 1999 and together they became CNH Global. This corporation became responsible for advertising several of the top brands of construction and agricultural equipment in the world.
